Here we would like to share our memories in relation to Father Sopeña. We would like to further cultivate his forest, that is almost a jungle, and in which we feel well rooted.

i did not have any other median to share the pain & condolences, so sending it to you. you may forward the same with them or have them reach me directly. they may or may not know me, but a brief info below will help.

Dear Juanjo and All the Family and Friends who will miss Fred Sopena


This is to say we, so many of us, miss him dearly.


He was there for us to share our ideals, to analyse situations, to think bravely on life.


God gave him to us for so many precious years. Generations of Jesuits, so many other men and women whom he touched with care and hope.


I believe he will accompany us.


For his Inspiration was Jesus who promised life to us. Life that death cannot...
