Brief description of the filosophy, origins and organization: Year of constitution: 1999. Matru Schaya Social Welfare Society (MSSWS) is a religious organization legally founded in 1975. It Works with a different tribal groups in six different sites in three districts of Maharashtra: Amravati, Akola and Thane.

Premanjali is one of the units of MSSWS, located in the town of Shilonda. This unit began its task in 1999 and at the present time works with a tribal population of 76 villages and 10 municipalities of the regions of Dahanu and Jower. In a radios of 40 kilometrers they cover a population of near 15.000 people through diverse social development and sanitary services programs.

Aims of the organization:
The main target of the organization is the integral development of the tribal population of the villages near the municipality of Shilonda.
The priority of this organization has always been to work for the human dignity of the tribal population marginalized.

Places of Action:
1. Education (Ashram-boarding school, Balwadis-day-care center and additonal classes)
2. Woman development through self-help groups
3.Awareness programs (Rights, rationing cards, castes certificates..)
4.Health (Sanitary education, formation of healh workers, Medical Camps, etc.)
