Jahnit Vikas in Tara is an Indian NGO registered legally in the Charitable Trust Register that works with the talukas (native towns) in Panvel, Phen and Rota in the district of Raigad, in Maharashtra, to advance the development of the tribes that live under poverty threshold levels.

It has been registered as a charitable public organization since 11 August 1992, number E-13981 in Bombay.

Work areas:
Since its origins, this NGO has concentrated on topics related with formal unconventional teaching, and with trainng animators in the villages to create awareness, obtain governmental resources, programmes to generate and develop funds, health projects, courses to become builders, human rights, education related to legal issues, microcredit groups, group help, etc.
