Boarding Facility for Tribal Children

The boarding facility at Vishwa Mandal Sevashram began with the intention of providing accommodation to those children who are enrolled in various schools in Shirpur. Most of the villages in shirpur are quite far from Shirpur, it is a hassle to travel back and forth for school. Due to this many students dropped out of schools.

VMS recognize this issue of hectic travel conditions being one of main reasons of children dropping out of the schools. Therefore VMS started a boarding facility specially catering to male tribal students from class V to X. These students are enrolled in the nearby schools in Shirpur with many being PALAS students as well.

The boarding facilities availed at VMS is quite structured and based on the principle of discipline & hardwork. The children are expected to serve their own food, wash their clothes and study together daily after dinner. The elder children tutor younger children fostering a relation of brotherhood among them.
