The NGO Seva Mandal Shantivan Shetkari works basically in Ashagad, Dahanu Taluka in Thane district.It manages two schools, where children are very poor and do not pay anything, and there are subminister training and maintenance.
In order to obtain resources to these schools and avoid dependence on grants have been launched some activities that at the same time provide incomes and promote the formation of children / as attending school.
These activities are related to agriculture and animal husbandry.
To cultivate the land hey need a rototiller, and ADA will pay for it, and in relation to animal breeding they are going to create a fish farm.
ADA will finance also the creation of a small raft ant its plastic coating. The grant represents 75% of the total investment. The purchase of the rotavator and the construction of the raft will take place during 2009.
