Introduction: Our main motivation is to work with tribal communities, especially Kathkaris, because is one of the primitive tribes of Maharashtra. They have a low level of economic development and often suffer the oppression of dominant groups, who take advantage of their illiteracy and unjust social structure. This is the motivation for the development of literacy programs in tribal villages. The NGO also promotes education, health and empowerment among the tribes in Panvel taluka. The tribes need support and counseling, in order to be able to manage their own development and progress.

Objective: The empowerment of the tribal status within the family, the community and local self-government.

Description: Consolidation of the old self-help-groups (40) and creation of 15 new self-help-groups. During this project children who need reinforcement classes will be a priority. These self-help-groups will provide:
- Opportunities for sustenance- Increase their self-realization at all levels.
- Promoting traditional medicine, education of tribal children through school and other activities.
- Empowering the community to defend their rights and interaction with the administration.
- Encourage local leaders to support community activities.
- Promote good relations and the health of families.
